Nawal M. Nour (born 1966 Khartoum, Sudan) is a Sudanese American obstetrician and gynecologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She was a recipient of a 2003 MacArthur Fellowship, the "Genius award".〔http://www.brighamandwomens.org/africanwomenscenter/bio.aspx?sub=0〕 ==Life== She was raised in Sudan and England. She graduated from Brown University, and from Harvard Medical School in 1994, and completed a chief residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, in 1998. She graduated from Harvard School of Public Health with a MPH in 1999, as a Commonwealth Fund/Harvard University Fellow.
